The label focusses on early / baroque music and organ music. The repertoire contains many world premiere recordings in both categories. The fine equipment and the careful work on the product result in the largely acclaimed quality of sound. A lot of AEOLUS CDs have been awarded by the leading music magazines.

ARCANA

At ARCANA, music is existential. We seek to broaden the repertoire, distinguishing marsterpieces from trivial works. We select those artists whose sensibility, skill and influence create new forms of
beauty, and we place at their disposal a philosophy of unique sound to reproduce their message with the least possible bit of artifice.

AUDITE.gif

AUDITE

The label « Audite » has developed into a highly regarded address in the classical scene during the past few years. Above all, the professional press has bestowed the highest praise on Rafael Kubelik's Mahler cycle with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well as on the rediscovery of the composer Eduard Franck. Besides these series, which are being continued, we commit ourselves to first-class artists, unusual repertoire and audiophile quality.
Sound engineer Ludger Böckenhoff is the motor and centre of audite. For many years he worked for companies such as Deutsche Grammophon, Sony and BBC, and is still active today as a producer for other high-standard labels.
The close cooperation with a growing nucleus of first-class artists so typical of audite has also arisen out of this activity. This guarantees a clear programming line, consistently high quality and polished productions in the most minute detail. The audite programme is thus based on three pillars - legendary recordings, interesting, at times unusual repertoire and large editions.

EMPREINTE DIGITALE

The artistic choices are made according to the pleasure for ear and heart, and always with the underlying idea that the association with each new artist is in fact the beginning of a new adventure. The repertoires explored in classical music tend to be those of the medieval period or contemporary. The world music line was known as “Mediterranean imprints” for a long time; its main source is new music created from native musical traditions.

PAN CLASSICS

A recording cannot replace a concert experience!" - so runs the opinion of many music lovers and musicians. Indeed, there is much to be said for this assertion. The range of arguments advanced extends from the musical to the physical. And they appear compelling. The difference between a living room and a concert hall, between reproduction equipment and a real orchestra, is too great.
But if one asks "Should a recording replace a concert?" then it becomes more difficult.

PAVANE.jpg

PAVANE RECORDS

For 25 years, Pavane is an independent Belgian recording label, devoted exclusively to classical music.
Nearly 250 recordings have been published on compact disc. Many collaborations take place between the label and its artists. Prestigious laureats of the International Queen Elisabeth Competition of Belgium such as Youri Egorov, Cyprien Katsaris, Rudolph Werthen, have found an ideal and trusted partner with Pavane for the realisation of the recording projects that they held dear.
The rediscovery of Belgian composers also figures in the editorial priorities of Pavane, which recently published the first world-wide complete recording of the piano music of Joseph Jongen, as well as his string quartets.
For a few years now, Bertrand de Wouters d'Oplinter has taken over the reins of the label, where one finds confirmed values as well as a new generation of artists.
Resolutely turned towards the future, Pavane is developping many new projects, notably a new series concentrating on old and baroque music
